Time Between Report Delivery and Return of Evidence to Submitting Agency
Most laboratories follow specific procedures for retaining or returning evidence. Evidence in a laboratory vault is subject to control and auditing procedures. Often, laboratory procedures will require returning evidence to the corresponding agency upon completion of the case. Whether retained or returned, laboratory resources are required.
