Analytical reports issued by forensic DNA laboratories can vary widely in format. The content of reports should be generally the same as particular accreditation standards require certain content to be present and addressed in the report. Reports may contain the results of any additional non-DNA tests performed to locate and characterize the type of biological evidence present.
