Ignore it, it is not credible evidence.

The defense may argue:

  1. The evidence was not properly collected or preserved so you can't be certain it actually is what it has been labeled;
  2. The integrity of the evidence has been compromised by contamination and/or degradation at the crime scene or in the lab; or
  3. Factors about this lab, this DNA analyst, and/or this case should raise sufficient questions for the jury that they should disregard the evidence.
