Funding Opportunities
NIJ awards grants and cooperative agreements for research, development, and evaluation projects. Review our open funding solicitations for FY24 as well as insights from Director Nancy La Vigne on how to build a strong proposal and avoid common weaknesses.
Funding opportunities of interest include:
- NIJ’s Graduate Research Fellowship program (first application deadline is April 10).
- NIJ W.E.B. Du Bois Program of Research on Reducing Racial and Ethnic Disparities in the Justice System (first application deadline is May 30)
