Award Information
Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2008, $308,155)
This project will identify materials that have been identified as susceptible to spontaneous ignition and it will include the properties of those materials in a database for information purposes for investigators. Making data accessible via the internet may reduce examination time and thus reduce case backlog. Additionally, identifying the conditions under which materials combust will make fire debris analysis faster.
