Working Together on a Criminal Case: Agency Communications
This training was presented as a part of the National Center on Forensics Conference at George Mason University on August 10th, 2023. In this panel discussion, Coroner Liaison for the Montana Forensic Science Division Kayla Wallace, Former Montana State Chief Medical Examiner Rob Kurtzman, FBI Special Agent Jenny Cutalo-Patterson, Attorney General for the Delaware Attorney General’s Office Kathy Jennings, and Director at the Virginia Department of Forensic Science Linda Jackson discuss how different agencies communicate when working a criminal case. This session breaks down the roles, concerns and demands of each individual agency and, how to ensure effective communication and partnerships.
