This resource consists of a chart laying out interview questions, the provisions and key concepts related to those questions, provision numbers, document sources, and observation items or notes, as appropriate; it is divided into five sections, two interview sections for interviews by Family Treatment Court (FTC) Coordinator and treatment, two sections for observation by FTC staffing and hearings, and a document review section.
The chart provided by this document presents five Appendices related to Family Treatment Court (FTC) model standards, which are named as follows: Appendix A, is Interview – FTC Coordinator; Appendix B is Interview – Treatment; Appendix C is Observation – FTC Staffing; Appendix D is Observation – FTC Hearing; and Appendix E is Document Review. Each chart lays out interview questions, the provisions and key concepts related to those questions, provision numbers, document sources, and observation items or notes, as appropriate. The chart of each appendix is organized into sections based on the FTC standards: standard 1, organization and structure; standard 2, role of the judge; standard 3, equity and inclusion; early identification, screening, and assessment; standard 5, timely, high-quality, and appropriate substance use disorder treatment, standard 6, comprehensive case management, services, and supports for families; standard 7, therapeutic responses to behavior; and standard 8, monitoring and evaluation.
