Officers' and Community Members' Evaluations of Police-Civilian Interactions

"This project contains a research and/or development component, as defined in applicable law, and complies with Part 200 Uniform Requirements - 2CFR 200.21(A((14)". The applicant seeks to recruit over 800 police officers and citizens and capture their responses to various vignettes depicting a fictitious police-citizen interaction. The proposed research design adds to criminal justice literature by including police perceptions of use-of-force interactions—which is unique because related research is limited to the perceptions of community members. ca/ncf
