Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2011, $667,388)

This project will leverage previous NIJ-funded research that resulted in a laboratory prototype device for infrared visualization of blood on common fabric surfaces, to develop a rapid and non-destructive portable camera for visualization of latent blood at crime scenes.
