Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2010, $998,782)
The National Clearinghouse for Science, Technology and the Law (NCSTL)will develop and implement a 32 hour web-based Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner-Sexual Assault Response Team (SANE-SART) forensic training course to a minimum of 1,000 participants. The modules will be tailored to the trainees area of expertise/specialty. The trainee will complete 24 hours of self paced training. The remaining eight hours will be dedicated to eight, one-hour weekly interactive webinars with a SART expert. After the original broadcast, webinars will be available on the training website.
