We will effectively address the changing investigative techniques and utilize the newest DNA technology to solve violent crimes which have no current leads.

The purpose of grant funding will allow overtime hours for one detective sergeant, four experienced detectives and one Property/Evidence Specialist. The Homicide Sergeant will serve as the program manager for the grant, coordinate, supervise all project activities and assist with follow-up investigations as necessary to ensure program success.
