Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2007, $500,000)
The Michigan State Police, Flint and Saginaw Police Departments will utilize grant funding for the following allowable activities in order to meet the proposed objectives: overtime for investigative team members and laboratory personnel; travel assistance following hit confirmation and the filing of charges; computer equipment and software to aid investigative efforts; laboratory supplies for DNA analysis and evidence handling; contractor services to support investigative efforts; and administrative expenses. All eligible profiles obtained through this initiative will be uploaded into CODIS.
