The goal of this effort is to determine the degree to which higher image quality and machine-based video analysis provide advantage and state this in a way that will support cost-benefit analyses. State and local law enforcement personnel will benefit from this effort by capitalizing on a detailed specification for in-car video systems.
Deliverable for this effort is a practical findings articles and technical papers describing technical findings.
The majority of the users of this technology will be local law enforcement.
