This project will conduct a survey of technology readiness of various link analysis approaches to support law enforcement needs. Link analysis facilitates analysts' efforts to 'connect the dots' between disparate individuals and events. Perform a thorough technology analysis, including 'laboratory-only' technologies, that identifies concrete applied research directions needed to improve the utility of link analysis technologies for use in law enforcement ' research directions that are suitable for funding by federal, state and/or local agencies. ca/ncf
