Florida State University will work in cooperation with AccessData Corp. on the application of a Distributed Network Attack (DNA) to perform large scale pass-phrase code breaking for law enforcement. By harnessing the idle CPU time of existing computers connected via a TCP/IP network, the resulting combined computing power far exceeds the capabilities of the world's most powerful supercomputers.
