Regional Criminal Information/Intelligence/Information Networks

This project will look at the development of an integrated training and information-sharing network to improve counterintelligence initiatives in Texas, coupled with the development of a geographic information system (GIS) and a relational database that will test the viability of improving investigation and detection efforts in selected areas along the Texas border with Mexico. The program is designed to increase the information and intelligence capabilities of law enforcement agencies and provide comprehensive training related to illegal border activities for police officers.
