Project Summary for 2002-RT-BX-1001
This project is a three year evaluation and recidivism study of the Queensboro Transitional Services Program (QTSP). The evaluation will conduct and experimental study of the impact of three transitional program groups on recidivism rates among participants. One group will include paricipants in the QTSP and the other two will include inmates released to the QTSP, but not participating in transitional programs and inmates released directly to the community from upstate New York prisons. Evaluation participants will be followed at 6 months and one year, post-release.
