This webinar provided details and guidance for potential applicants to NIJ’s solicitation, “Research and Evaluation for the Testing and Interpretation of Physical Evidence in Publicly Funded Forensic Laboratories.”

The intent of this research and evaluation effort is to direct findings toward the forensic community, offering best practices for the most efficient, accurate, reliable, and cost-effective methods for the identification, analysis, and interpretation of physical evidence in publicly funded crime laboratories. Through this work, we aim to have a direct and immediate impact on laboratory efficiency and assist in making laboratory policy decisions.
