The Small, Rural, Tribal and Border (SRTB) Regional Center, part of the National Institute of Justice (NIJ), publicizes NIJ and National Law Enforcement and Corrections Technology Center (NLECTC) programs and services aimed at serving rural, tribal, and border criminal justice agencies. This NIJ Fact Sheet highlights some of the NIJ programs and services that are publicized through the SRTB Regional Center. These include the Federal Surplus Property Program, the Law Enforcement Aviation Program, NIJ technology institutes, outreach efforts of NIJ, collaboration with other centers in the NLECTC system, and the Regional Center's Constituent Advisory Group.
