This report describes the work done under a Federal grant for the work of the Maryland Forensic Science Task Force.
Abstract
Funding from this grant, distributed to Anne Arundel County, Baltimore City, and the Maryland State Police, was used to pay for staff training pertaining to accreditation audits, the use of statistics, and general knowledge in forensics. The latter trainings will aid the DNA chemists in their ability to interpret mixtures and present those results in court as expert witnesses.
