This is an online glossary that enables users to search for definitions of multidisciplinary sexual assault terminology under six relevant topics.
Abstract
The six suggested topic areas are advocacy, law enforcement, forensic medical/nursing, legal, forensic science, and sexual violence. Any of these six topic areas can be entered for a search, and all terms in the glossary relevant to that topic will be displayed with definitions. If the first letter of the specific search term is known, any letter of the alphabet can be clicked to produce all terms in the glossary that begin with that letter. The glossary currently contains 971 terms and is continually being updated. The web site has a provision for users to recommend new terms for the glossary.
