This study assesses the use of Zar-Pro Fluorescent Lifters to lift, enhance, and preserve blood and other proteinaceous impressions.
This research project focused on optimizing the detection, enhancement, and preservation of impressions deposited in blood, semen, saliva, an eccrine sweat and sebaceous mixture, and nonhuman oil using Zar-Pro Fluorescent Lifters. Zar-Pro Fluorescent Blood Lifters have been successful in lifting, enhancing, and preserving blood impressions; however, this technology had not been explored to determine their effectiveness in the recovery of nonblood proteinaceous impressions.
