This report describes the training and personnel upgrades achieved in two of New Mexico's crime labs through a Federal grant under the National Forensic Sciences Improvement Act.
Abstract
Funding from this grant was used to provide training and professional development to forensic personnel at the Northern Forensic Laboratory and the Albuquerque Police Department Metropolitan Forensic Science Center. Additional funding was used to fill a medical epidemiologist position at the University of New Mexico Office of the Medical Investigator.
