Assessment of National and State Tip Line Technology as a Strategy for Identifying Threats to School Safety

RTI proposes a comprehensive, mixed mode study that describes and evaluates school tip-line technologies and their implementation across the United States. A national sample of public middle and high school administrators/school safety personnel will be recruited to participate in this study, which also relies heavily on existing administrative datasets.

To provide additional data, RTI also proposes to conduct a more in depth analysis the Oregon School Safety Tip Line Program (OSST), a recently launched statewide program.
