Award Information
Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2010, $118,195)
This project will explore the use of Raman spectroscopy and advanced spectral deconvolution software (multi-component library searching) to increase the efficiency and safety of clandestine laboratory sample analysis. Raman spectroscopy has been shown to be a robust method with a wide range of applications particularly relevant to the forensic science. This project will aid in the investigation of unknown materials at clandestine laboratories. ca/ncf
