This proposal seeks funding to increase the availability of LEIC's course, 'DNA Evidence Identification, Collection, and Preservation for Law Enforcement' on a national scale for law enforcement personnel and their criminal justice partners throughout the U.S. This curriculum will serve as the basis for delivering this unique and specialized program that utilizes classroom instruction and hands-on, practical exercises in a mock crime scene. The training will be presented throughout the U.S. at least 25 times during the 12-month grant period reaching an anticipated national audience of 750 law enforcement officers and their partners. ca/ncf
