The purpose of this proposal is to provide additional funding for 2010 and 2011 budgets to continue the operation of the cold case unit that was reestablished on January 6, 2009. Severe budget cuts forced LBPD to eliminate their cold case unit in 2007. LBPD is committed to the success of the cold case unit and the DNA project.
