This funding request is to purchase equipment and software upgrades that will ensure that Ohio BCI is able to fully automate for in-house processing of all cases. Funds are requested to upgrade five sperm searchers, purchase of a 3130XL and 3130 capillary electrophoresis system, robotics equipment and software upgrades and licensing for Genemapper ID-X software. Additionally, funds will be used for two validation efforts at the Richfield and London laboratories.
