Advanced Digital Forensics and Intelligence Program

This funding supports development and implementation of an Advanced Digital Forensics training program and state-of-the-art laboratory facility. The purpose of the program is to provide digital forensics investigators with the knowledge of the latest technology tools in the prevention, response and investigation of computer-related crimes. The program will build the capacity of criminal justice agencies to effectively and efficiently handle digital evidence following proper evidentiary protocol. The primary target audience for the proposed training is law enforcement or other public sector investigators; the secondary audience is IT professionals with whom law enforcement investigators work with on computer-related crimes.
