The goal of this project is to develop a rapid, automated, highly sensitive and specific method for body fluid identification using a single technique that consumes a minimal amount of sample. Mass spectrometry will be used to identify body fluid specific peptide fingerprints that can be used to distinguish individual body fluids in mixed forensic samples. ca/ncf
