Award Information
Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2008, $313,021)
Internet-based crimes, whether they involve stalking, child exploitation, theft, or malicious attacks, are a significant public safety and criminal justice concern and are of significant interest to the law enforcement community. This project proposes to address this problem in part, by analyzing the current state of information security in the greater Cincinnati region and state of Kentucky, to identify weaknesses, particularly as it applies to economic sector vulnerabilities, and lay the groundwork for implementation of a strategy to address those vulnerabilities. nca/ncf
