Through its California Criminalistics Institute the California DOJ will develop, enhance, and deliver training in the areas of Firearms and Toolmarks and Forensic Biology/DNA. The trainings will use a combination of lecture, laboratory, and field exercises as well as practical exercises in the students home laboratory.
