Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2007, $290,249)
NW3C will enhance and increase the number of no-cost training opportunities for the forensic science community by providing the delivery of an effective and efficient tool that enables State and local law enforcement forensic crime labs and agents the availability of a no'cost solution for a knowledge-based forensic science tool that assists in the previewing, acquisition, preservation and processing of seized computer evidence. NW3C will provide a variety of training modalities, enhance existing curricula, attain subject matter experts, and provide logistical support to execute training for approximately 300 students through 12 classes directed primarily at forensic science practitioners of State and local law enforcement agencies, using ILook® version 9 and ILook IXImager.
