GE will develop a site-adaptive approach to face recognition at a distance, for use in criminal justice and homeland security applications. They will develop a face recognition engine that continuously adapts to the changing imaging conditions of a specific site. This development and evaluation effort will optimize face recognition at a distance could lead to the adoption of new tools and technologies for use by local law enforcement agencies.
