Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2006, $153,289)
This award will enable software created in part with funding from NIJ Grant 2004-IJ-CX-K050: Quantitative Assessment of the Discriminatory Power of Handwriting and Validating/Improving Handwriting Identification Procedures to be transferred to the Question Document Community. Project objectives include: rigorous software testing, assistance on using the software, e.g., telephone support, creating a user manual, creating software-patches as necessary and making software updates available for download. Funding is requested for one year of this effort after which the software is expected to become self-supporting.
