TBS North America Inc. is further developing their patent pending 'Segment ImagingTM' system is based on touchless, optoelectronics technology using customized hardware and software components. The software system includes algorithms for hardware calibration and for real-time image quality control. Development goals include enrolling cooperative subjects with no or minimal operator involvement, support for non-cooperative enrollment, and capture of all 10 rolled-equivalent prints within a 15 second time frame, and within 5 seconds for subsequent enrollments.
