Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2005, $437,592)
Authenti-Corp proposes to perform standards-based performance and interoperability testing on iris recognition products available to law enforcement to determine the sensitivity of iris recognition products to user motion and placement. A guidance document will also be prepared, which will present general requirements for various criminal justice applications, such as identity documents, surveillance, and physical and logical access control, and identify commercial iris recognition products that meet those requirements.
