Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2004, $5,000,000)
The Kentucky Community Critical Infrastructure Protection Laboratory (KyCIPLab) pursues research and development projects that protect community-based critical infrastructure. KyCIPLab provides systematic capabilities to safeguard the critical infrastructure of the nation's communities and help them recover from terrorist incidents and other major crimes, natural disasters, and other critical incidents that may occur.
