Award Information
Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2004, $188,444)
The purpose of this project is to determine the effects of radio frequency (RF) radiation upon motor vehicles due to variations made in the polarization and frequency of RF waveforms, and due to the application of modulated (cascaded) RF waveforms. A compact RF source and an accompanying high gain antenna (directional) will be fabricated and used to examine the occurrence of detrimental effects that are produced on the engine control electronics of test vehicles.CA/NCF
