Kentucky Community Critical Infrastructure Protection Laboratory (KyCIPLab)

These funds to Eastern Kentucky University are to organize and marshal the extensive knowledge resources of Kentucky Universities and Colleges to pursue research and development projects that support the Department of Homeland Security's ability to protect community-based critical infrastructure. KyCIPlab designs solutions to terrorism threats, providing systematic capabilities not only to safeguard the critical infrastructure of the nation's communities, but to recover from any terrorism incident that may occur. KyCIPLab seeks to expand the spectrum of products and services keyed to the protection, preservation and restoration of community-based critical infrastructure in the face of terrorism threats.
