Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2003, $200,000)
Project RETAINS involves the development of a standard or best practice for staffing the nation's law enforcement, fire-rescue, and EMS communications units as well as best practices to assist in retaining the recommended standard level of staffing. The objective will be a published standard for staffing and publication of the best practices for retention.
