Project Summary for 2003-MU-MU-K102
This project will consist of four phases. During Phase I, hardware will be procured, the Starlight software will be installed, analyst and support teams will be trained, plans will be developed for the assessment phase, and the database of interest will be setup to feed to the Starlight system. NYPD users will conduct the initial demonstration/assessment of Starlight during Phase II, according to a jointly developed protocol and will provide Pacific Northwest National Labs (PNNL) staff with recommended modifications and enhancements. During Phase III, PNNL staff will implement the highest priorty enhancements that are technically feasible and within budget constraints of the project. The enhancements will in turn be demonstrated and assessed by NYPD staff during Phase IV. Additionally, the project teams will focus on completing the overall assessment and final report, and present the findings from the project at appropriate workshops, conferences, and other appropriate forums.
