Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2002, $799,573)
This award is supplement number 1 to grant 2002-LP-CX-K007 and will allow the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigations (BCI&I) to upgrade laboratory analytical capabilities and efficiency through the acquisition of new equipment. These improvements will allow BCI&I to provide an enhanced level of analytical service to the law enforcement and judicial entities served throughout the state of Ohio. The equipment will be distributed between the BCI&I laboratory system's three regional locations. The result of these acquisitions will be faster case turn-around with an improved analytical product.
