Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2001, $997,796)
This project will continue to provide the full range of systems engineering and integration services to the criminal justice community for the design, acquisition and implementation of information and telecommunications capabilities in a manner totally objective and free from any real or perceived conflict of interest. The focus of the project's activities will be: 1) Technologies for Investigation Support Enforcement, 2) Impact of Biometrically Encoded Driver's Licenses on Law Enforcement, 3) Law Enforcement Regional Communications and Data Center Architecture, 4) Criminal Justice Technology Requirements Gathering, Information Sharing, and Products Re-use, and 5) Strategic Information Technology Planning for Small and Medium Law Enforcement Agencies.
