SAFE SCHOOLS, LAW ENFORCEMENT AND CORRECTIONS RESEARCH SUPPORT

This project will perform research on safe schools, law enforcement, and corrections at George Mason University and provide support to the NIJ Office of Science and Technology in these areas. The project also encompasses technology surveys, investigation and review of advanced and emerging technologies with potential application in schools, law enforcement and corrections. Other activities include collection and dissemination of data, preparation of presentation materials, participation in the editorial process for publications, liaison with academic, governmental, and community organizations, planning of seminars and meetings, survey research of technology users and producers, and other administrative initiatives as required.
