Digital Evidence 101

This training was presented as a part of the National Center on Forensics conference at George Mason University on August 8^th, 2023. In this session speaker James Emerson, discusses the connection between Medicolegal Death Investigations and Digital Evidence, and the importance of acknowledging the constant developments in technology. This session reviews continuously evolving digital evidence cases, digital evidence propagation, the relevance of digital evidence to medical death investigations, and the current need for research and standards in the field.
