This video series presents Information and regulations for the preparation, archiving, and accession of data administered by the U.S. Justice Department's National Institute of Justice (NIJ).
Abstract
The manual consists of parts. Part One presents protocols and regulations regarding research data issues related to "Human Subjects, Confidentiality, and NIJ archiving requirements. Part Two presents an overview of data related to the Inter-University Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR) and the National Archive of Criminal Justice Data (NACJD). Part Three contains procedures and information on the "Data Archiving Life-cycle." Part Four presents procedures for "Depositing Data," and Part Five explains procedures for "Using the NACJD Website." Contact information for assistance in preparing, archiving, and accessing NIJ data is also provided.
