The priority interests for 1991 were community-based programs, community policing and law enforcement programs, criminal justice technology and forensic science, drugs and crime, drug testing, and drug use forecasting. The grants supported national surveys of activity in a given area; they provide a review and synthesis of past research, a comprehensive analysis, original research, program assessments, impact evaluations, and evaluation reviews. For each grant, the amount, title, name and address of the recipient organization, and contact person are listed. Priorities for research in fiscal year 1992 are also summarized.
