Award Information
Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2013, $962,489)
While CADNAP has made considerable progress, 966 cases are still waiting identification and review and many inmates have yet to be contacted. Resources from the Ca-IPs and the state are inadequate to proactively identify, locate, and assist the wrongly convicted. There is a clear need for postconviction DNA outreach and case review. Without funding, efforts to satisfy this need will remain insufficient.
