In the proposed approach, the applicant will prove the feasibility of a vastly capable, affordable forensic detection and identification tool. The ultimate goal of the proposed work is to develop an integrated day and night forensic survey camera capable of real time enhancement of target signatures of forensic interest by collecting and analyzing different wavelength and polarization channels using multiple wavelength LED illumination, including ultraviolet (UV) illumination for fluorescence signature.
